Albufeira’s Pine Cliffs Resort, "reopens" doors June 6th with new offers and reinforced hygiene and safety measures that will provide an unforgettable summer holiday.
In addition to the protocol defined by the "Clean & Safe" certification, awarded by Portugal’s Tourism Board, the resort has invested in new cleaning equipment to guarantee the elimination of all viruses and bacteria. New disinfection mats have also been placed at all entrances to the resort and acrylics at the receptions, guests’ luggage can be disinfected upon arrival and, in the rooms, a security seal is implemented on the door after the sanitization which is only broken by the guest when entering at the room.

For now, there are five restaurants and bars open: Corda Café, the restaurant at the heart of the resort for all-day meals; Maré at Pine Cliffs, a beach restaurant and bar with a upper deck boasting a sea view; Mirador, described as “perfect for a cocktail while watching the sunset”; Clubhouse, a laidback restaurant with a view to the golf course; and Jardim Colonial, a classic restaurant offering an outdoor area for served buffet breakfast.
The beach concession at Praia da Falésia has also been expanded and redesigned to guarantee all standards and ensures maximum comfort for all who visit the Resort. Balinese beds, sunbeds and sunshades are available for rent, and clients can even request to have the whole area to themselves.
All restaurants have launched new menus, take-away service and extended terraces that will undoubtedly be one of the best places to enjoy the sunny days ahead. Besides the established distance between tables, customers can also consult the menus of bars and restaurants through QR Code, thus avoiding contact with traditional menus.
The room service has also been reinvented: it will be done through the restaurants and requests for delivery to the accommodation will be left at the door.
After months of mandatory confinement, physical and mental well-being becomes even more relevant to ensure the health of all. At Pine Cliffs Resort, fitness classes are now held outdoor, in the green gardens of the resort and always with the Atlantic Ocean breeze. Beauty services are also available at Style - Hairdresser & Barbershop, and Serenity - The Art of Well Being spa, which has also reopened its doors. In addition, the resort offers medical services, on site or by call, and nutrition consultations available by appointment.
The golf course and tennis and paddle courts will also be open as will the Porto Pirata (kids club) children’s playground.
With more than 72 hectares, the resort offers the perfect place to rest and enjoy nature without having to drive the car. Guests can choose to stay in a Villa (with private pool, jacuzzi and barbecue), in a fully equipped Villa, in apartments with kitchen and connecting rooms, if needed, or hotel rooms. Whatever the option, those who visit the Resort will be able to enjoy a quiet holiday, with all the services they need in one place.
