For an exclusive interview with Jornal Económico, Carlos Leal, General Manager of United Investments Portugal (UIP), owner of the reference project Pine Cliffs Resort, stated that the group plans to invest another 70 to 80 million euros in Portugal. This amount does not include the 200 million euros investment planned for Vale do Freixo project in Loulé, which has been in a legal-bureaucratic impasse for several years.

Carlos Leal added also: "In Portugal, for us, the three main focuses are the Algarve, the Greater Porto and the Greater Lisbon. But we are also looking at investing in other international destinations in Europe."
